New York is an attractive city, where you can find some of the world’s tallest skyscrapers. All of them are inspiring, while the iconic landmark of New York City, the most frequented among tourists, is the Empire State Building.
Once being the tallest in New York, this breathtaking building has 102 stories, with interesting parts to explore on every floor.
Empire State Building was built in the early 1930s in about a year and was considered to be the Eighth Wonder of the World with the height of 381 meters. The building was designed by William Frederick Lamb in Art Deco style and it makes everyone surprised for having a simple design and so much appeal at the same time.
Empire State Building has eighty-five stories of commercial office space and an observatory on the eighty-sixth floor, as you can see in above image. Other stories design by Art-Deco style of 1930s and there are broadcasting antennas on the top of the Empire State Building.
You will be amazed to find the highest open-air observation deck in New York on the eighty-sixth floor. It will be an unforgettable experience to see the city’s fantastic skyscrapers, the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge from a bird-eye view. There are also binoculars for a closer look.

The role of the Empire state building is also significant in pop culture as it is featured in many television shows and movies. Starting from 1931 the building has been a top place for the Hollywood, you can see it in more than 250 movies and such shows as America’s got talent, America’s Next Top Model and many others.
The most exciting views of the Empire State Building is at night, when it shines in New York skyline proudly, especially when it changes the lights on annual holidays and cultural events.
