Pont des Arts was the first metal bridge in Paris. It is an ideal location for picnics, so you can see many people there especially during summertime. The bridge is also known as a ‘love lock bridge’ as people used to clip locks to the bridge and throw the key to the river in order their love to last forever. In spite of the fact that the locks were removed not to cause the bridge wires break, the bridge still stays one of the most favorites among tourists.
