Camping out is the best ways to see Yosemite National Park, and luckily, there are thirteen camping areas in the park. Camping in this Park can be challenging during the summer, but if you are able to make reservations early, you can be assured of getting the right spot for your vacation.
You are supposed to make reservations during the year for the Yosemite auto campgrounds valley and they are necessary during summer through fall at Hodgdon Meadow, half of Tuolumne Meadows, Crane Flat and Wawona.

Several campsites are open throughout the year in Yosemite, and so you can go camping in the Park even when the snow flies. There’s cross-country, snowboarding and downhill skiing in the park, and you as well go ice skating in Yosemite Village or, get a pair of snowshoes and go across the valley meadows.In addition to hiking, you can also rent bikes or bring your own to ride across Yosemite Valley, you can visit the museums, enjoy a fine meal at the 4-star resort, Ahwahnee Hotel and Resort, or go horseback riding throughout Yosemite Village.
Watch for Bears
Remember to be on the lookout for bears when you are camping in this Park. You need to store your food in a food cabinet while you are camping. These cabinets are found in Curry Village and almost all the parking regions for a trail head, as well as every campsite in the park. These are metal food cabinets that are big enough to hold food and coolers and are also bear proof. You cannot store food overnight in your car; you should use a food cabinet.
